Shiatsu, like most complementary therapies, is voluntarily regulated. Our mission is to ensure the highest standards of practice across all Shiatsu communities, but we only have the authority to intervene, verify and support the practitioners who are registered with us.

Shiatsu can be learned by anyone, but not everyone is qualified to provide a Shiatsu treatment. When choosing a Shiatsu practitioner, make sure they are qualified, insured, ethically responsible, and dedicated to professional development.
