Finally some good news in the aesthetics industry.
A face to face consultation must be carried out prior to prescribing aesthetic medications !
Some practitioners have been happy to bend the rules but now remote prescribing is to be banned.
It has always been best practice for a face to face consultation to prescribe medicines in aesthetics like anti-wrinkle injections.
I have always followed this practice since gaining my prescribing qualification 5 years ago so nothing will change here!
If you are booking appointments for anti-wrinkle injections ensure your practitioner is compliant and you see a prescriber face to face first!
