๐ŸŒŸ April Joint Members of the Month โ€“ Carol Pitts and Mo Pitfield๐ŸŒŸ

Carol joined Curves around 3 years ago after being inspired by her friend Mo who loved the 30-minute workouts, women-only environment, and how easy it was to stay consistent.
Since joining, Carol has really valued the friendly, supportive atmosphere, with coaches always on hand to encourage and motivate. The flexible opening hours have also made it easy for her to fit workouts into her routine.
Joining in her late 60's, Carol wanted to maintain her fitness and muscle mass as she began to do less cycling, Zumba, and long-distance walkingโ€”having previously completed events like London to Brighton and Ride the Night ๐Ÿšดโ™€๏ธ
Now using CurvesSmart, Carol aims to attend three times a week and achieve all greens. She finds great motivation in the coachesโ€™ support and in seeing other ladies, of all ages and abilities, showing up and giving their best.
Since starting, Carol has improved her strength and muscle tone, lost a few pounds, and feels a real sense of achievementโ€”especially on the days she doesnโ€™t feel like coming but leaves feeling fantastic! ๐Ÿ’œ
โœจ Alongside Mo, Carol also runs on Instagram and TikTok, sharing style tips, sustainable fashion, and confidence. With growing followers and even a BBC radio feature, Carol feels Curves has helped boost her confidence to start this exciting new chapter.
Carol says: โ€œCurves is friendly, welcoming, and it really works!โ€

Mo joined Curves back in April 2021 with a very special goal in mind. Her sonโ€™s wedding, originally planned for 2020, had been postponed due to COVID, and Mo wanted to feel confident and amazing in her Mother of the Groom dress for the big day in June 2021 ๐Ÿ’
Fast forward five yearsโ€ฆ and sheโ€™s still going strong! ๐Ÿ’ช
What Mo loves most about Curves is the 30-minute workout. Itโ€™s quick, manageable, and never feels overwhelming โ€” making it easy to stay consistent.
But itโ€™s not just the workout that keeps her coming back. Mo says the incredible support from both the staff and fellow members makes all the difference, along with the fact she feels great about her shape and wants to maintain it.
Mo is passionate about the importance of maintaining muscle mass, especially as we get older โ€” something we couldnโ€™t agree with more! ๐Ÿ™Œ
She enjoys all the machines (although the shoulder press isnโ€™t her favourite ๐Ÿ˜„) and is focused on staying fit so she can continue travelling, enjoying holidays, and keeping up with her grandchildren for years to come โค๏ธ
And thatโ€™s not allโ€ฆ Mo and her friend Carol have embraced a new lease of life by joining Curves and even starting their own TikTok and Instagram accounts ๐Ÿ‘‰ โ€” go and check them out! ๐Ÿ˜
