We are holding our Christmas Fayre Saturday 6th December. Everyone is welcome. We have tombola, white elephant stall, raffles, handmade soaps and wax melts, scarves and glove stall and a sweets and biscuits stall. We look forward to seeing you all.

Happy New Year everyone

The last few days i have been working on a little project in the homes conservatory turning it into an activities area this is for our residents and their family members to use to. It will be an area that you can come and use for any activites and to play games.
It is a work in progress at the moment i will keep adding things please come and use for quality time.
Through the summer the outside area is open for you to use too either on the front or round the side which over the next few months will be a work in progress ready for better weather.

Hi everyone
dates for your diary

At the moment i am looking for donations of plants inside or outside plants these are for a plant tombola for our Spring Fayre.

Spring Fayre Saturday 13th April 2pm

PLEASE come and join us all the monies raised comes straight back to our residents for different activities and entertainment

Pony visit Monday 22nd April 2pm

Party Day 100th birthday 1st June

If at any point any of you would like to come in and join in with any activities or suggest anything please feel free to talk to Wendi, many hands always make things flow and i am pretty sure your family member would enjoy your involvement, this is their home so we will always welcome family involvement no matter what it is. If you can ti**le on a keyboard or enjoy a sing along feel free along with free hand painting or gluing, even down to helping mark off bingo numbers it would be welcomed.
Donation of time is so important to the home and our residents.
All our afternoon teas and entertainment dates are open to all families and friends

Today i would like to put a big thank you out there for 2 young girls who at Christmas volunteered to do an activity to raise money for the residents activity fund.
They decided to call it the 12 days of Skipmass, so for 12 days for 5 minutes a day they both skipped very successfully raising £230 through sponsorship.
It was so nice to be approached by the girls to do such a lovely thing for our residents, we will use the money wisely and have a lovely time with it.
I have some photo's and video's which i will upload soon.
So i'm saying a massive thank you to Alicia and Bella Johnson for all their hard work and volunteering they're time through a very busy time of the year to be thinking of our residents.

Thursday is still our crotchet and knitting club sessions all welcome.
Mon 26th Anglers Mates are joining us for a sea shanty singing session at 2pm all welcome.
Tue 27th 10am NHS physio session
Tue 22th 2pm Bingo session all welcome.
Mon 4th March Trip out to a local garden centre from 10.30
Mon 4th 2pm Bingo session

Happy New Year to everyone
As of yet the diary isn`t too full but we have one or two things coming up.
We have enjoyed a busy Christmas we have had staff performing our version of Cinderella we have also had a trip to Nottingham Theatre Royal for Dick Whittingham. Along with Ilkeston Brass coming in Tea parties Deb and her daughter playing their trumpets and our Christmas Fayre along with 2 young ladies doing a skipmas for us to raise funds so busy busy.
