I started writing this early January with all the New Year resolution vibes flying around.

It’s about having trust in divine timing and in yourself, being on the right path and following your inner compass - especially when it tells you to wait and be still when your head has convinced your nervous system it needs to go go go.

But go where? What is this go? Driven by societal constructs rather than natural flow and quiet inner knowing.

I choose to draw on daily Mindfulness meditation and practices of self-care plus stillness stillness stillness.

I’m feeling a similar vibe now, with the letting go of the full moon and last weeks of the snake year-shedding those final layers ready for something new to emerge.

Patience, stillness and trusting the process πŸ”οΈπŸŒ™πŸ’œ

Life is rather chaotic at the moment but one thing I am noticing is that I am NOTICING how my mind & body are responding. Which means I’m more able to CHOOSE my next steps with care and compassion for myself. I’m more able to ACCEPT how things are and give myself space to breathe and BE WITH what’s here rather than push it away or get drawn down a rabbit hole of unhelpful thoughts. THIS is why I practice. Because it allows me the FREEDOM to choose to take care of myself and therefore much sooner return to steadiness, peace & presence πŸ”οΈπŸŒ™πŸ’œ
