The ABUHB Vaccination Centre provides additional access to the public for all things vaccine related – from advice, checking an individual’s vaccine status to administering vaccines.

Our goal is to keep our community safe and healthy by providing a reliable, friendly, and professional vaccination service, making vaccines more accessible and convenient for people across Gwent.

Vaccinations protect people of all ages from preventable diseases, reducing outbreaks, and safeguarding those most at risk, we can work together to build a healthier Gwent for everyone.

The Centre is open Monday-Saturday 9:15am-4:30pm and will stock a vast range of vaccinations for all ages. It will complement existing healthcare delivery services for vaccination. We ask that you honour any pre-booked appointments with other services (GP, Community Pharmacy etc).

If you wish to enquire about the availability of a specific vaccine, it is encouraged that you ring ahead on 0300 303 1373 to check before attending the Vaccination Centre at: Shopping Centre, 19 - 25 The Parade, Cwmbran NP44 1PB.

🍲Important Update – Slow Cooker Club 🍲

Due to an unforeseen change, the start date for the Slow Cooker Club has had to be rearranged.

👉 New start date: Tuesday 13th January
❌ Not starting tomorrow (Tuesday 6th)

We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and really appreciate your understanding. We’re looking forward to getting started next week and cooking up some great meals together!

The Gwent Carers Hub supports unpaid carers with advice, information, and a friendly space to connect. They have lots happening this month, including:
Unpaid Carers Support Groups – Every Monday & Wednesday, 10am–2pm
Coffee Mornings & Community Outreach – Join us at local venues across Gwent
Special Services – Beauty treatments, complementary therapy, and free legal clinics
Carers Voice Panel – Have your say on issues that matter to you
Recovery College Courses – Online and in-person sessions available
Support Out in the Community – Find out where our wellbeing workers are and how they can support you locally

Ysbyty Aneurin Bevan League of Friends very kindly donated chocolate selection boxes for every patient currently admitted in the hospital and tubs of chocolates for staff in each department.
Some of the BG NCN team helped to distribute the chocolates around the hospital spreading some festive cheer to patients and staff.
We’re so grateful to the League of Friends for their kindness and support.
