Hi all…. Issy here - your local Pilates instructor, strength and stretch coach and huge yogi fan.
As we all know 2025 is coming to an end, so are my 40’s and I want as many people to start 2026 stronger, fitter, more consistent and more disciplined than they ever thought possible.
You are probably aware I run mainly ladies only classes consisting of strength and Pilates here in the village, and I also run a mixed pilates class where I would love to see more men come along. There are a few men who attend and I am sure if you were to speak to them they would tell you the benefits of pilates, especially for mobility, core strength and spinal stability.
I would also like to involve as many ladies as possible, especially those of us in perimenopause, menopause or post menopause. Whether it has been surgically induced or natural it’s vital for women in this phase to double down on bone density, resistance training and general mental and physical well-being so you have a better quality of life when you get older and can reduce your risk of bone disease and muscle loss. Having said that I welcome all ladies to attend, even the younger ones to help with physical and mental development and awareness.
