Happy New Year 💖

You could add your daily seed cycling seeds to your lunchtime salad. 🥗

This barley, green lentil, red cabbage, carrot, endive, almonds salad is delicious and seeds go really well with it.

The dressing punches a 💥 of flavour with pomegranate molasses, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, lemon juice, olive oil.

Serve with crumbled feta, chopped parsley & some sweet pomegranate arils.

☀️A lovely summery way to enjoy Seed Cycling.☀️

⛱️🍉No Bake Lemon and Cardamom Seed cycling Bliss Balls🌻🌞

300g sunflower seeds & sesame seeds
3/4 pack of Phase 2 Seeds

OR 300g pumpkin seeds & flax seeds
3/4 pack Phase 1 Seeds

125g coconut flakes

1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

1 teaspoon lemon zest

125g tahini

1 tablespoon melted coconut oil

2 tablespoons pure maple syrup

1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Mix. Makes 14/16 balls. Pop into freezer.

Hope you’re enjoying the weekend.

So this breakfast sounds a bit like an Ottolenghi recipe so just adapt and include what you have in the cupboard.

Poached some plums in water, brown sugar, star anise & cinnamon.

Added deconstructed/ unreconstructed energy ball mixture. It’s like a delicious chocolatey rich crumble topping.

I made a large batch using 200g mixed with blended.. here we go: dates, prunes, cocoa powder, peanut butter & got quite fancy using dried sweet cherries & wild raspberries and used for the first time some dried organic raspberry powder. All available to order on line I can send you details if you’re interested.

Added some Kefir and a black chai tea.

January is a great month to make exciting fruit salads 🍉 🍎 🍌 to add some colour to breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Use a mix of locally available fresh fruits, here in Scotland that’s basically apples & pears 🍎 🍏 🍐.

Add in some frozen mixed berries 💜 and some tinned fruit so many sunny options peaches, apricots, pineapple 🍍
