I started writing this post quite a while ago, but I have only just gotten around to finishing it. Is there anything that you would like to see me cover in a future blog? Feel free to send me a message or pop a quick reply below if there is.

This is a bit of a follow-up to a piece I wrote about what your massage therapist doesn’t care about. You can see that here. Admittedly I can’t talk for every massage therapist, but I would hope the majority of us feel similarly. The main ‘thing’ we care about is simple. It’s you, our clien...

I just love this time of year. With cherry blossom and new lambs and nesting birds, the days are warmer and the sun is making its presence known again. What's not to love? I don't think you can beat a good Scottish spring and summer. Time seems to move so quickly, so make the most of the beautiful days while you can.

Admittedly, this is a tenuous segue, but talking of time, I do get asked why I structure my massage sessions as I do. Some people seem to prefer to book something a little more specific than a period of time. I explain all in my lastest blog

My latest blog post is live - it's all about the things that are perfectly fine with your massage therapist - even if they might make you think twice about going for a massage. The link is in the comments.

Is there anything holding you back from getting a much-wanted massage? Feel free to comment or send a message if there is anything that you are not sure about.

Only a few days availability left before I head home for a bit. The ferries are cancelled tomorrow, so I just have to hope that all is well next weekend!

I have finally published a blog post on the course I attended recently - all about the dynamics of depth. Do you tend to stick to a similar pressure every massage? Many people do, but people can be surprised at how much they get from a lighter or a deeper massage.

I'm contemplating an offer for people who would like to experiment a bit with different pressures - one deeper treatment, and one light treatment, £90 for both, saving 25%! If you are interested and would like more information, or have any concerns you would like to discuss, get in touch.

I'm not long back from a 'Dynamics of Depth' course. This was a day-long massage course that explored the use of both deep and light pressure. As the course is suitable for beginners to NO HANDS Massage, the day started covering the basics. Before we do any massage, we cover how we do the massage. In...

Had a fabulous day yesterday with this amazing group of massage therapists. Left home at 5.30am and got back at 10.30pm - so I'm also very tired today, but it was so worth it!!

Today I am Vay Vay Tired. Happy tired - but tired all the same!

The recent past has been filled with many joyous and wonderful things and being back in the NO HANDS training room in Morecambe yesterday was the cherry on the cake. The therapists who attended as so clearly client centric in their work - committed to delivering the very best treatments they can. It's a real privilege to be part of.

Plus I get to do it all over again next week! Happy Tig Tigs (and also resting Tig Tigs - this update is brought to you from under a blanket on the sofa...) /Tigger

I'm really excited to be going on a massage course on Saturday. I haven't been to an in-person NO HANDS massage course since pre-COVID - December 2019 to be exact. I just know that I am going to come back with my passion for massage re-ignited.

For anyone who doesn't know, NO HANDS massage is the style I have been training in for the last 18 years. I have seen remarkable transformations happen as a direct result of this style of massage.

If you want to be the first to benefit from my renewed excitement, I have some 30-minute massage sessions in Edinburgh available the day after the course for the very special price of £20. The link to book is in the comments. It's supposed to be for new clients, but I won't tell anyone if you have been before... ssshhhh!

I'm contemplating going back to basics and attending the introductory NO HANDS massage course. It's for qualified massage therapists, but training with them is really where I feel my massage story began. I was a qualified massage therapist, and there was nothing wrong with the training I received - but I always felt like something was missing.

That changed when I found NO HANDS massage back in 2006. I went for what I thought was a one-off introductory course - and it turned into so much more. I love the style of massage. I love the support and training. And I love the international community that has been created through NHM. I love that repeating courses is encouraged, and it really helps to strengthen understanding. Every time I go to a NH course (repeated or not) I remember just why I love this job so much.

If you are, or know, a massage therapist that might be interested, in the course, they can find out about it here https://nohandsmassage.vipmembervault.com/af/22287/91

I might see them there!

Fancy a sneak peek at what's coming up in January?

Oh, OK then...

In Edinburgh I am launching massage workshops, for two or three people - normal price will be £60 per person, launch price just £48 per person using code 'WORKSHOP'.

Also in Edinburgh, you can use code JAN50 to save £10 on your massage session. A course of three sessions booked between now and the end of January will be £135 (last session to be taken by the end of March) - that's not bookable online.

In Kirkliston we have the fabulous Winter Warmer offer - a hot stone massage using orange spice massage wax (or plain oil if you prefer) for just £40 in January, using code WARMER. It's available for the normal price of £50 for locals until the end of March.

Bookings can be made online in Kirkliston now, at https://www.fresha.com/book-now/angela-sinclair-massage-s3f6xk4c/all-offer?pId=368054

Edinburgh online bookings should be available soon, but in the meantime you can message me to book.
