A lot of you will know that I've lived with endometriosis since I was 14 years old and wasn't diagnosed til I was 27, (I'll be 45 this year).

I've tried so many painkillers, birth control options to slow down the growth. I've had five laparoscopies with ablation and excision (burning or cutting out lesions) but as people with endo know, it's recurring illness and there is no cure. It also can impact heavily on your day to day life.

I really wish I had this book back in the day, it would've helped my mindset so much and made me feel less alone. I'm lucky, I've got the best family (I think my 75 year old father knows more about than female anatomy and endo than ge probably ever needed to) and I've also got some great friends who are so supportive. But for those who don't have this support network, get this book. .uk

Consistency, yes, I know we're all banging on about it but it really is the only way to get better and improve.

This was my fourth time out in the past two weeks and I've finally managed to shave my time down to under a 9 min mile. I'm wanting to up the mileage eventually and get my time down to nearer an 8 min mile but it takes commitment. I need to suck it up and get on with it.

Beautiful morning climbing Ben A'an. It's the first time since October 2020 that we've been out on the hills.

It definitely got the heart rate up, got us a little bit out of breath and we even had a bit of a sweat going on.

This hill is good for someone that is a beginner and wants to try hill walking. There are quite a few steeps parts but the views are worth it.
