Lothian Centre for Inclusive Living LCiL is a person-led organisation supporting disabled people through the services we provide - enabling them to live as independently as possible.

The main aims of the Lothian Centre for Inclusive Living are:

Provide a range of services to support Independent Living, developed and managed by and for disabled people. Support the right for disabled people to live independently and take control of their own lives. Provide the opportunity for disabled people to further their own personal and professional development, including through peer support. Challenge the attitudes, and the physical and social barriers that create disability

Free 12 week British Sign Language (BSL) Course for people with hearing loss.

Join a community of hard of hearing/deafened learners and learn BSL skills in a safe and supportive environment with an experienced Deaf Tutor.

Dates: Tuesday 21 April to Tuesday 7 July 2026.
Time: 6pm to 8pm
Where: Royston Wardieburn Community Centre - 11 Pilton Drive North, Edinburgh, EH5 1NF.

You can bring a partner, family member or friend to learn alongside you (the same person must attend for the full 12 weeks)
