I always wanted to study Chinese medicine but my journey took me first to the world of branding and coaching.
During that time I started practicing yoga and was quickly drawn to a style that takes influence from Chinese Medicine - Yin Yoga
It didn’t take long until I founded my first well-being studio in Finland (my other home country) and trained in Shiatsu (Japanese Acupressure) Classical Acupressure (Chinese style) and Aromatherapy.
I have been a wellbeing coach teacher trainer since 2011, teaching both Yin Yoga and Oriental Medicine to yoga students. I have had the opportunity to pass on my knowledge and experience to over 600 students globally. By training others to become wellbeing practitioners, I have been able to spread my message of holistic health and happiness to even more people.
I have always loved studying, and in 2015 the time felt right to embark on the journey that I still am on. My first Chinese Medicine certification is in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine).
I learned the art of needling, dry and fire cupping and Gua Sha during my TCM studies in 2015-2018.
My interest and background in Psychology made me curious of a specific style of Oriental Medicine which draws influence from Japan, China and Korea, called Five Element Acupuncture.
I have finished my 3,5 year degree course in Five Element Acupuncture in the prestigious Acupuncture Academy in Leamington Spa. I have been awarded a Licentiate in Acupuncture, equaling to a Bachelors level degree.
As a practicing acupuncturist, I have already helped many people find relief from pain and discomfort.
My expertise in traditional Chinese medicine has equipped me with a unique perspective on healthcare that is increasingly in demand. My ability to pinpoint the root cause of a patient’s issues and provide individualised treatment plans is a valuable skill that has undoubtedly improved the lives of countless individuals.
