Mary is passionate about yoga and the transformation it can bring. The connection to both herself and students in her classes is what really drives her passion for teaching. "I attended classes in various locations across Edinburgh through my twenty's and although I knew there w
as something special in this practice, something unattainable anywhere else, my practice wasnt always consistent over the years. However after the birth of my daughter in 2012, the subtle benefits of the practice were really magnified and yoga became a way of self regulation. I decided to complete a teacher training course as I wanted to understand the philosophy and theory that underpins this beautiful practice. However as my knowledge grew and the desire to share this life changing practice arose, my passion to teach developed. As I continue to discover the deeper aspects of yoga, in this life long studentship, my enthusiasm for teaching and sharing grows. I believe that our yoga needs to be integrated into our daily lives with openess and courage so that we can fully understand ourselves and therefore relate to the world around us. Finding our own personal practice is where we find our transformation and solace in this busy modern day living!"
Mary teaches predominantly vinyasa flow. She has studied both hatha vinyasa and yin, and is currently studying the principles of Ayurveda.
