Hey , thanks for visiting us in Edinburgh! We were so sorry to hear you had broken your arm while on holiday, but glad we could help get you stitched up and back on your travels. What fun it was having a celebrity in the studio!

Little monkey Chimpy came to visit us recently looking for a few holes to be fixed up 🐵.
He needed some reinforced stitching under his arms, legs and chin so that he could remain a durable and playful friend. We were able to match the material and crochet some patches to get him back on his feet. He'll be swinging from branches for years yet!

We'd like to introduce you to our resident lovebug, Raffael the giant teddy! Standing at 53 inches tall (that's 134.62cm), they give the most mega hugs and love to be the big spoon. If you are looking for a snuggle buddy this Valentine's day you can enter our raffle to win Raffael for just £1 per ticket 💘
We're sure you've heard of nesting dolls before, but have you heard of nesting teddies? 🐻 🐻
Before the end of last year we had a donation teddy sent in, and when we went to repair him, it turned out he wasn't the original but rather a skin for a very loved vintage teddy. From one bear we have two!
1) Both teddies repaired and looking clean and happy.
2) The original donation teddy sent to us. Who knew there would be another secret teddy inside!
3) Discovery of the inner teddy.
4) Both teddies side by side, ready for adoption.
The siblings have been fixed up and are looking for their forever home. If you would like to adopt, all we ask is that you take them together (we can't 'bear' to separate them!).
To adopt the nesting teddies, head over to https://checkout.square.site/merchant/8DJ031KSNRDW7/checkout/EGVQPJ64EMVBT35BFSE2ZOMK and select 2 Regular Teddies. Indicate at checkout you would like the 2 Nesting Teddies.

🎁 HOLIDAY GIVEAWAY - Biscuit the Bear 🎁
Our rather large friend Biscuit is looking for a home this holiday season, so we thought we'd help him out by having a giveaway and sharing some information about him with you!
🐻 Biscuit is a large Brown Bear native to the Pacific Northwest of North America. He loves adventure, is not afraid of danger, and is always open to new experiences.
🐻 He likes to read books about world leaders and ambitious movements that inspire others, and he is fiercely loyal and and supportive. He speaks his mind, and always prefers honesty and being upfront about his feelings.
🐻 Recently, he made the impulsive decision to move to Scotland without doing any research and was shocked to find there were no other Brown Bears like him! While we assured him that if he was patient he may be able to return to North America, he has insisted on making a home here and wants our help to find one.
Would you like to give Biscuit a home for the holidays? To have a chance to ✨win the giveaway✨ and adopt Biscuit, like this post and comment what star sign you think Biscuit is based off the information we shared with you. If you guess it right we'll pop your entry in the pool!
📣 Contest closes at 9am on December 15th 📣. Winner announced on December 16th. You must be able to come pick up Biscuit at our studio in Musselburgh (post not available at this time) before the holidays. He is a rather large bear, so come prepared! Only entries that have liked and commented correctly on this post will be considered.
Good luck! We hope you can give Biscuit the home he needs for the holidays 🎄.

This Teletubby came to us with a cracked and breaking face. Here's how we fixed it step-by-step:
1) Picture of the toy when it arrived. The cracks spread from the ears and through the eyes. Toy Hospital to the rescue!
2) Step one was to make a copy of the original face with alginate.
3) We use this to make a replica of the face in clay, ready to have the cracks smoothed out.
4) Creating a plaster mould, we then make a new rubber face after adjusting the clay sculpture to have no cracks.
5) Once the new face is complete we paint it to match the original one.
6) The big reveal! Before and after.
7) Teletubby is all fixed up and ready to go back to the owner.
