If your UTI keeps coming back… it can feel completely random. One minute you feel better, the next… it’s back again!!! 😣😤😭

You’re left thinking: “What did I do wrong?”...

The way I want you to think about this is like a garden 🪴🪏
If you spray w**d killer, the w**ds might disappear for a while. But if you don’t turnover the soil, nourish it, if you don’t plant something new in its place, guess what?
👉The w**ds grow back!

And your bladder ecosystem works in a very similar way.🌱🌺

If you’re only ever trying to kill bacteria (in your bladder) but not changing the environment they’re living in, and the wider environment (like the va**na), the cycle simply continues.

If your UTI keeps coming back, even after antibiotics, it’s not necessarily that treatment failed, but something’s been missed. Antibiotics can reduce bacteria but they don’t change the environment those bacteria are living in.🌱🌵🪴

📣Your bladder isn’t working in isolation 📣
It’s influenced by:
🔷your va**nal microbiome
🔷your bladder lining
🔷your immune system
🔷your nervous system

So if that internal environment is still out of balance…
You can get stuck in a cycle of:

If you’re constantly thinking… “Was it something I ate?” 😳 You’re not alone. 💙 This is one of the biggest patterns I see with chronic UTIs and IC:

You eat → you flare
So you start joining the dots…

And suddenly it feels like:

Food in = acid = flare

It feels logical
But it’s also what keeps you stuck. 💙

Because your bladder isn’t reacting to one food in isolation. It’s responding to what’s already going on underneath 👇
• your microbiome
• your bladder lining
• your immune system
• your nervous system

Food becomes the moment you notice the flare,
not the root cause of it.
And the more you restrict and avoid… 🚨

So you cut it out.

Then something else flares…
and the list gets longer.

And before you know it, you’re stuck eating a handful of “safe” foods and still not feeling better.

Your bladder isn’t reacting to one food in isolation.
It’s responding to what’s already going on underneath.

🚨 4 things keeping you stuck in chronic UTI mode🚨

1️⃣ Over-restricting your diet: Cutting more and more foods isn’t healing your bladder. It’s reinforcing fear and keeping your system stuck in a cycle.

2️⃣ Responding to every sensation with fear: When your brain labels a symptom or food as danger, it keeps the cycle going. Instead, neutralise it 👉 “oh, there it is.”

3️⃣ Relying only on antibiotics: If you keep taking another round every time, but nothing actually changes… that’s your sign it’s not the full solution.

4️⃣ Only chasing bacteria: If you’re only focused on urine tests, biofilms and bacteria, you’ll keep going in circles. Your bladder doesn’t exist in isolation. Your gut, va**nal microbiome, bladder lining, immune system and nervous system all play a role. If you’re not supporting these, you’re missing the root.

You don’t have to live like this.💙

You’re not in pain because of tomatoes. 🍅🙅‍♀️
One of the most common pieces of advice in bladder health is to cut out foods like citrus and tomatoes.

And while it can sound logical, it’s often oversimplified and taken out of context.

What I see instead is women becoming more and more restricted, anxious around food, and still stuck in the same cycle of painful bladder symptoms.

Because the real drivers are rarely being addressed.

Things like microbiome disruption, immune function, hormones, inflammation, and a bladder lining that hasn’t properly healed.

Food isn’t the root problem.
And it’s not something you need to fear.

With the right approach, it becomes part of the solution. 💙
