Happy 1st of January from a very special, energetically powerful place, Arthur's Seat! A sacred spot that provides much medicine in both herbs and emotional healing. 🙏

Whilst I struggle to call it new year in the depth of winter (the REAL new year is spring when life re-emerges 😉💚🌿), I do love that the 1st January is a shared day of reflection, gratitude and forward movements.
I've been radio silent on here for a while. Mainly navigating some health stuff that's required me to go inwards and focus on my own healing... but I'm ready to come outwards again, slowly... the herbal healing world needs us herbalists big time and I cant wait to see you all again!

Have a lovely, gentle time ahead everyone. Grateful for my constant support and guidance - from both human and plant wisdom! 🙏

What is smudging!? It's actually called 'saining' in Celtic tradition but is more commonly known as 'smudging'.
Well... it's a beautiful sacred cultural practice of burning healing herbs gathered with intention from the Earth to support spiritual, mental, emotional and physical wellbeing.
Smudging is helpful in so many ways... to cleanse energy, to ground ourselves, invite focus, balance and clarity or to strengthen spiritual connection 🌿💚
It really is a beautiful practice that we should all be working with daily!

I've put on an extra workshop on Sunday October 5th at 10am by popular demand... limited spaces and the Smudge class ALWAYS SELLS OUT FAST! It is a stunning one and one of my favourites to teach. Welcome! I can't wait to see you there ✨️

Thankful to have been invited along by the National Trust for Scotland today to teach about the incredible plants we have and their healing properties and traditional uses. WHAT A VENUE!

What a beautiful and soft change of scene September is!!
Welcome to Autumn 🍂

This Sunday I'm delighted to share a wonderful event with you all... a gorgeous foraging and healing herb walk where we'll spend time with the fruits, berries, barks and aromatics of this season. You'll learn to identify and sustainable gather these healing herbs and some of their therapeutic offerings aswell as have many tasters, testers and recipes from herbal medicines and edible treats made with the plants we meet. And let's not forget the wild food picnic at the end of the event!!

Not a bad wee day in Herb & Soul's healing herb garden! I got a proper haircut thanks to and my humongous mega fragrant Sage plant got a proper haircut too! It was about time (for both me and Sage!) 💚🌿
