This is me at my happiest, away on retreat, surrounded by warm-hearted people in a supportive environment doing something i find meaningful.

My break was so restorative. It’s given me a renewed sense of wanting to reconnect to all the things that make my life meaningful.

Teaching yoga and connecting with likeminded souls is definitely one of those things.

I’ve been teaching yoga for 12 years now(!) and can’t wait to get back to teaching in-person again now that I’m settled in Bromley.

I’m never quite sure how to describe my classes to capture what they are like, but there’s always breathing and movement, and often there’s poetry woven in, and a specific theme to the class to give you something to consider as you practice in order to bring you more into yourself and into alignment.

If you’d like to practice with me, we’re meeting at in BR2 on Wednesdays 8.15-9.15pm. I’d love to meet you.

Reach out to me if you’d like to chat before signing up. Booking link in bio.

It’s five years since the world went into lockdown and all my yoga classes went online. At that time, I was teaching yoga as my full-time job.

Since then I’ve moved to a new city, where I’ve lived in three different places and had several different jobs. Finally, after three years I accepted I no longer lived in Scotland and found myself a home.

Now that I am settled, it feels like the right time to begin teaching in person again. I miss the energy of being in a yoga studio; being part of a group that is moving and breathing together; the way each individual in the practice supports the whole.

I’ve found a beautiful studio round the corner from my home and am delighted to begin to offer a weekly class at on Wednesdays 8.15 - 9.15pm from 10 September.

Online classes will continue as well. Our weekly practice sustains me more than you will ever know and I cannot begin to express my gratitude, appreciation and admiration for all you wonderful yogis who have faithfully continued to practice with me, some of you for nearly a decade now (I know, I can’t believe it either!). Our practice has seen me through multiple home, jobs, (boyfriends!). It will no doubt sustain me through everything else that is coming in my future as well 🙏

Bromley, I can’t wait to practice yoga with you 🤩

Booking link is in my bio. Please reach out if you have questions or would like to chat before signing up.

This poem is speaking to me at the moment. I walk in the woods daily and, as the leaves rustle in the breeze, I can hear them whisper these words to me.

The summer solstice. The peak. The high point of the year. Spent with gentle, kind people in community celebrating and chanting together. I find these things so healing. (And of course I picked the Scorpio card out of all the possible animals in the deck🤣)
A beautiful way to spend the solstice 🥰

By the beach, where the waves of the Atlantic Ocean are warm when they lap over your toes. Where no filter is needed on photos of the sun setting, the sky glowing pink and gold.

Mother Africa, where the earth is red and the coffee is Nescafe. Where my piece of heaven is next to someone else’s daily life.

And when I wish I could have this view everyday, that I could come down to the beach and know the breeze would be warm on my sticky skin, I remind myself that if this were daily life it would present as many challenges as anywhere else. Its beauty rests in that it is rare, and in that rarity is all that makes it precious. It is fleeting. Too quickly over. Like the sun. Which is setting, into the water.
