Firstperiod.org Hello. My name is Koree. I am 12 years old and I just experienced my first period. Thank you for joining me as I explore the menstrual cycle.

Improving wellbeing and menstrual health for women and girls across the world with the firstperiod.org education platform and the ‘Koree’, an ergonomically designed and re-usable feminine hygiene product Our bodies are amazing. Between the ages of 9 and 17, most people grow very quickly and experience big physical and emotional change. For girls, one of the most significant changes is the arrival of the first period. Sooo… in a twist of Fate :) I have turned out to be a Football (soccer) enthusiastic mom :) It was not my choice (and I was happy to give the honour to his father): my son is named after … and I ended up coaching his football team yesterday (14 September 2024)… AND I AM BUZZING TODAY. I HAVE found my secondary passion! :) Turns out that in addition to empowering young women through their , I am passionate about helping my son develop his football skills :)
PS. Dear Scottish people: I promise that I do not buy into or ascribe to the ugly tribalism and politics associated with the Scottish team that Henrik’s namesake played for. I very much respect Henrik Larsson as a player and gentleman in all the teams that he has represented :)
