What's the truth behind the hype? At Light Touch Mindfulness you won't find pictures of people in business suits sitting in lotus position in front of their laptop. We're just interested in the fundamental questions: What is happening around us? What are our senses telling us? Our mind is continually interpreting all this information to help us to make sense of the world. As daily life goes on around us thoughts seem to pop into our heads from nowhere, then we experience the emotions that are generated by these thoughts . The first tool we have to help us manage our lives is attention. But half the time (or more!) it's out of our control. How is that? With mindfulness training we learn what's going on and we gain confidence in managing our attention and directing it to whatever - and whoever - needs it most.
