🎄 Feel Good Friday — Calm Your Nervous System this Christmas 🎅
The festive season can bring extra noise, deadlines and emotional weight. Small, repeatable practices help you stay grounded, present and gentler with yourself.
• Breathing break — 3–5 minutes: inhale 4, hold 1–2, exhale 6–8. Slow breaths help switch on your relaxation response.
• Move gently — a short walk, neck rolls or gentle stretches to release tension and boost circulation.
• Prioritise rest — choose micro-rests over busy-ness; yoga nidra is perfect for a quick, restorative pause.
• Stay hydrated — keep a water bottle nearby; add a drop of DōTERRA lemon or wild orange for a bright lift.
• Use grounding oils — apply a little to the soles, spine and pulse points; frankincense, Balance, Northern Escape or Shinrin‑Yoku can help you feel centred when the to‑do list overwhelms.
• Protect your energy — it’s okay to say no if something doesn’t light you up or you’re simply exhausted.
• Gratitude pause — if this season feels hard, take 60 seconds to name three small things you’re grateful for. Nature often gives us those moments — a sunrise, frost on the grass, a quiet breath.
Don’t forget your treatments to help you reset and feel lighter: reiki, reflexology, massage and Hopi ear candle. Give yourself the gift of calm this December
