Sunday Sessions 〰️
That Sunday evening feeling when your body’s softer, your breathing’s deeper and slower
and you can feel your system isn’t sitting as high or wired going into the week
This isn’t just stretching or “switching off”
it works right into the body
We started with breathwork and meditation
giving the nervous system space to actually arrive
not just mentally, but physically settling
Then into myofascial release and mobility
working into muscles, fascia, joint spaces
the areas that take the most load whether that’s from training, sitting, stress, or just life
Where you can feel things shift, tissues softening, pressure easing, movement starting to feel more natural again
It’s not mobility about forcing range, it’s giving the body the conditions to create it
We built that into slow flow movement, linking everything back together after our MFR with the cork balls
so it’s not just isolated stretching, but looking at how the body actually moves as a whole
Looking at the layers running through it
fascial lines, joint mechanics, how muscles, ligaments and tendons all connect
so nothing feels rushed or random, it all feeds into each other
Then we slowed it right down, yin and restorative yoga with optional hands-on support, mini massage and then you get to that point where you can feel you start to drop a gear
Finishing with the sound of the crystal bowls, and that deeper drop into rest, the part most of us don’t reach during the week, that allows us to integrate and process
And of course… a wee vegan brown butter banana salted caramel cake (what a mouthful pardon the pun) to take home
That balance of
