Sorry I have totally neglected Carly’s page 🙈🙈

Little update! She’s been home 8 days! The longest ever since November!

She was short listed for brave child of the year and tonight we had the awards ceremony and she won brave child of her year 2025 🥺🥺
We are extremely proud of her and she still smiles with everything that gets thrown at her.

Congratulations to all the winners from tonight 💜

Sorry it’s been a few days.
Carly-Rae counts were low on Thursday while in for line care so needed a blood transfusion so we didn’t get home until very late Thursday. Friday evening unfortunately she spiked a temp and just isn’t herself at all and is still looking very white. We had a night at dr grays then ambulance this morning to Rach where they are unsure what’s wrong. Currently getting some platelets. Other counts are low so they will be re checked again hoping the rise or next round will be delayed.

Today was a very long day thank goodness it’s bedtime 🥱
Had to fast from early this morning as she had theatre this afternoon which she didn’t go down until late and when I went to recovery I was shocked she wasn’t screaming the place down like she normally does 🙈
Back to her room for a wee sleep and cuddle from pongo then while eating her Maccies her bag of chemo went up and that will be up for 24 hours.
She’s still in good spirits which is good as the last couple of weeks have been low for her 🥺

Hey
We’ve had a chilled weekend at home before coming back into Rach today for a week. Fluids are up tonight then theatre and chemo bag up tomorrow afternoon for 24 hours then a few days of fluids after. Will be a long week as with the amount of fluids she’s on she’ll be up and down to the loo all day and night.

This morning she came downstairs looking like she was off to Costa del sol not Costa del Aberdeen 😅

She’s had active sports and music today on the ward which she absolutely loves

Hey,
Little update….
Carly-Rae had a very long night with being sick and restless 🥺 she has napped most of the day and is now doing slightly better now she’s on different antibiotics. Unfortunately she’s not eating or drinking very much so is on a continuous feed and also topped up with water via her ng. We are home tomorrow after her peg- chemo jab for a few days so hopefully she’ll be able to fully rest and get a decent sleep too 🤞🏼
