Sophie has always had a passion for fashion illustration, she was given a stencil sketchbook when she was little and used to love creating different combinations, adding glitter and going crazy with the numerous different outfits! She studied Art and Design at college where her 2 biggest inspirations were flowers (following in her Gran’s footsteps!) and using mixed media to make fashion art. At un

iversity she studied surface design and printed textiles where her main focus was creating patterns with florals, focusing on the delicacy of linework and pops of colour. A few years after graduating she reignited her passion for fashion illustrating. Initially through abstract sketches (known as ‘little ladies’) and has now developed into her own style to create bespoke illustrations of the wedding party, bride and groom and guests.

I’ve been lucky enough recently to have had a few watercolour commissions come through 🎨

This couple recently got married in Japan! The person who was gifting it wanted this to be shown through some cherry blossoms in the background, which I think gave the finishing touch! 🌸🤍

I always try and keep this page positive, yet real.

I share our story not for sympathy or for you to feel bad for us, but in the hope that it spreads the awareness over miscarriage. It is unfortunately incredibly common, which I genuinely had no idea until it happed to us a year and a half ago, yet again a couple of weeks ago.

Thank you for having me as part of your open day!

I won’t lie I’d been having some serious imposter syndrome recently, that alongside deciding last minute the watercolour I’d been working on wasn’t good enough, I was having some doubts how my day would go! But with my business cards constantly being picked up and having some lovely chats with you all (couples and suppliers!), hearing so many wonderful comments about my work, I left with a huge smile on my face 🥰

Bring on wedding season! 🤍
