This World Health Day 🌍💚 what about a walk this evening…
What’s the recipe for sustainable health and wellbeing? The answer. Not one single thing, and not exactly the same for everyone, as we’re all individuals. However, there are things, often simple, small things that you can do every day to help improve your health and wellbeing, and move towards a more sustainable and healthy future. Self-empowerment and personal responsibility are the foundations for better health and wellbeing.
Society of Homeopaths and our partners at the Integrated Healthcare Collaborative (IHC) want to give you some tools that could help. In fact, we’re going to give you one tip a week for a year.
Give them a try if you can, and see the effect on your health and wellbeing over the next 12 months. Some of them you may already do, some you may think are so obvious but everyone forgets to do on a daily basis, and some you may have never thought of before but could contribute towards a healthier mind and body.
First up, our first tip for the year, is to go for a walk. We know it’s obvious, but it’s an easy way to improve your daily health routine. Are you too sedentary? Do you sometimes get to the end of the day and realise you’ve hardly moved at all? Could you incorporate a walk into your everyday routine? It can be long or short, and remember not to overdo it if you’re not used to it. The most important thing is that you get your legs and body moving. We’re starting off our year of tips with some easy ones, but we’ll challenge you to try a wide range of things which together could transform your health and wellbeing.
We’d love you to share your own tips too. Tell us what you do, and maybe it’ll help someone else to improve their health and wellbeing.
