Life lately 🌻🫧

Some highlights of my summer so far, honestly it feels like it’s been going on for ages and it’s no surprise that this week I’ve been wiped out with a full on cold. Thank you lovely clients for being so understanding with rescheduling, you do to want to catch this.

Finding a balance in the summer of rest and play while still running a business, and co-running a home and family is pretty challenging, but looking through some of the beautiful things I’ve done so far this summer, places I’ve been to and people I’ve shared theses moments with, really makes it all worth while.

So here’s a just small highlighted and selected edit of some of the things I’ve been up to this summer, because life should be celebrated as much as we can 💫

😎 SUMMER HOLIDAY WORKSHOP 😎

We are back again with our action packed half day aerial hammock workshop this Summer holiday…

🗓️ Thursday 24th July 2025

📍Potters Bar, Herts

Suitable for ages 7-14 approx. Sibling discount available also 👯‍♂️

This fun, active and inclusive mixed level workshop will teach your child(ren) the fundamentals of aerial hammock - working on strength, flexibility, concentration, confidence and teamwork, while reconnecting with past workshop friends and making new ones!

Here they will experience circus based ground and aerial acrobatics, team building games, group and partner work, aerial yoga/acrobatics, interwoven with floating meditation and breath work to relax, calm and unwind.

We welcome both new and returning flyers for some flying fun!

So we’re offering something gentle and spacious to all our Wild Woman Overnight Retreat guests:

🌙 Stay an extra night, completely free. No need to decide now. If you’re feeling the call to linger a little longer, you can choose to stay Saturday night and wake up slowly on Sunday.

You’re also welcome to join Toby of .and.wak _ for his Sunday morning yoga class at 8:30am (both male and female attendees will be present). There’s no pressure to join, just an open invitation.

If you wish to stay for a post-class swim, sauna or breakfast, that’s available too for a small additional cost payable to Mana+Wak on the day.

Today I visited the lovely Lucy, of in her beautiful bespoke garden salon in Enfield Town.

We caught up with each other about our businesses, why we started them and what we love most about the work we do. We also spoke about ways we can support each other and the power of local business women in our community who support each other in a very organic way.

Lucy treated me to a lovely manicure and relaxing hand massage, which shut me up for a few minutes because it was soooo relaxing.

Lucy specialises in lashes and brows, and if hers are anything to go by then we are in safe hands as I couldn’t stop staring at how perfect and natural looking they are.

She also has some space for new clients, so if you are a local lass wanting some lash/brow/waxing/nails tlc then do reach out to her on here to book in and visit her cosy and inviting garden salon for some pamper time.

🌞 Sunday morning reflections…

I had a truly blissful Saturday of self love and care. Took myself to the .lass Self Care Club Spring Reset and Renew, with a small group of lovely local women, followed by a much needed Thai massage by the nurturing Cookie in Hampden Square and then home to a takeaway with my beautiful fam…

I’ve woken up today feeling really, (yes I’m gonna say it) “blessed” that I have access to so much local holistic wellness that I can literally walk to, and a beautiful growing community of like minded women who are all supporting each other to do the same thing.

Ultimately it boils down to our own intentions for ourselves. How much we value ourselves and what we are prepared to do, or not do to create a healthy balance.

Full disclaimer, I’ve had a tough week and I’m not just gonna blame the full moon, although she’s totally a part of it 😜
But, through this work that I do and the community we are building I have the tools to sit in the challenging stuff and work through it, which feels really empowering.

I’m grateful for my work, for the retreats and clients I attract. To hold space for others and to be held in other spaces for myself. To journey with the same women, and with new women, not knowing if or when we will meet again but trusting that each exchange enriches and heals us a little more and that we always get what we need when we need it. I said what I said.

Here’s to more connection, more self care choices and more self love and compassion.

I hope to see you at a woo woo, self love, body moving, tree hugging, story sharing, belly breathing, cacao drinking, sound healing, laugh til you cry, vegan cake eating women’s circle soon, because this is where the magic is ✨

I have loads on locally in beautiful venues in North London/Herts borders via the link in my bio and so do many others who all come to each others gatherings. Just get involved there’s a whole community at your fingertips and it’s really beautiful out here…
