It has taken me years to wake up to the importance of skin health. I was obsessed with what I put IN, but not what I put ON my skin. It’s the body’s largest organ and it comes under attack everyday, and we mostly just ignore it. Until something bad happens, that is.

Skin cancer is on the rise. And it has little to do with sun exposure and a lot to do with the chemicals we’re slathering on in our sunscreen creams.

I woke up to the importance of looking after my skin quite late in life. I rarely wore sunscreen - factor 50, PAH!! No way, I won’t get a tan, I told myself, and yet I’ve get a better tan than ever because of factor 50, because I NEVER get prickly heat, red or burn anymore.

Anyway, I’m not one for plugging brands unless they really blow me away. And TROPIC has done just that.

It’s ethical, chemical free, preservative free (yes, made fresh to order) and the WOMAN behind the brand genuinely cares about the world and the damage all these chemicals are doing to our coral reefs and seas.

My breathwork journey began as a very young child. My father taught me the importance of nose breathing and long, full exhales to manage my asthma. Little did I know that 50 years on I would return to his teachings and deepen my knowledge of this fundamental life force that we all take so much for granted.

Thank you for this wonderful course and thank you to those who are inspiring me on this journey that I hope will also enable me to inspire others. .studio .breathwork

When your heart is open, your mind curious and your frequency high, the right people appear at just the right time. They bring with them stories and wisdom. The synchronicity can be powerful and strong.

It may last a moment or a lifetime, who knows, but the time you share leaves a big impression.

I’ve been working on this since returning from my Ibiza Retreat in October.
It was such a huge success, I felt compelled to do another one.

Never the same place though. My retreats need to feel different each time. Each place holds its own energy and each group bring their own energy, so every experience is unique and beautiful in its own way.

But, finding somewhere as special was never going to be easy…. But I’ve done it 🙏🏻

Happy New Year Everyone 💖
You feeling it?

It’s cold! And so many people are poorly😞 And on top of that, there seems to be this urgency to make new year resolutions and set ourselves up to fail with unrealistic goals.

I’m a Coach, so I love goals! But I’m a great believer in going gently and taking things slowly as we enter a new year. It’s a time to hunker down, rest and re-charge. It’s a time to follow nature and shut up shop for a while. Reflect, re-boot, re-energise, re-align.

For me, it’s an opportunity to gather my thoughts, explore ideas and consider what I want to create for myself and what I can give to others in the months ahead.

It’s a time for laying down the foundations of my thoughts, nurture optimism, make plans and set powerful intentions.

Then, come Spring, my energy bank is full and my enthusiasm high, and yep, then, there’ll be no stopping me!

So, my friends, go gently with yourselves. Don’t put yourselves under pressure to achieve a ‘new you’. Focus more on being completely You, the most real version of You, that You can be.

Hopefully this article I wrote [Link in bio Ditch the Resolutions]will help you do that. Let’s get rid of what doesn’t serve us, be true to who we are and move into this blessed new year in alignment with our true values - our true Selves.

Happy New Year Everyone!

My year has started well. Full of promise and exciting plans. However, I never rush in and set too many resolutions or expectations at this point. I see these dark winter months as a time for hunkering down and reserving my energy. I use the time to think and plan creatively and with the onset of Spring, my energy levels to execute those plans and goals is high, full of optimism and drive.

I do however like to do a bit of an audit on what's working and what isn't, just to keep myself aligned with my values and the things that energise me.
Maybe you do the same? I wrote an article on this a while back so I'm sharing it again, in the hope it's helpful to those who may need a little prompt.
