🚲 Edmonton youth, this one’s for you! 🎉

We’re launching our new cycling project for young people aged 15–24

👉 We’ll be donating over 25 bikes to local young people.

But this project is about more than just bikes. Alongside the giveaways, we’ll be:

✅ Running bike repair workshops so young people can learn to fix and maintain their bikes
✅ Organising weekly group rides exploring Pymmes Park, new cycle lanes, and green spaces around Edmonton
✅ Hosting healthy eating events

📍 Based at the Pymmes Park Bike Library, we’re giving young people the tools, skills, and confidence to get active, connect with their community, and even create future job opportunities.

💡 Want to get involved? Whether you’re a young person ready to ride, a parent, or a local group who’d like to collaborate – we’d love to hear from you!

Feeling amazing after a nearly 25-mile bike ride to Broxbourne today. The weather was perfect and the ride was so scenic. We made a stop at a friend’s farm to grab some fresh, organic honey and topped it all off with a refreshing pint at the local pub. A perfect Sunday adventure ☀️🌳🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

Free Dr Bike Session at Oakwood Park Cafe🔧🚲 Bike mechanics will be outside of Oakwood Park Cafe.

⏰ Time: 10am- 2pm

Offering free bike safety checks and minor repairs.

✅ M-Check: Safety check to ensure your bike is safe to ride
✅Adjustments: Brakes, gears, and more
✅ Free parts: Replacements for small items like cables and brake pads

This event is on a first come first served basis - to be sure of a slot arrive earlier.

Dr Bike is provided by Journeys and Places ( Enfield Council ) with partnership with London Cycling Club ( LBK )

We're excited to be part of the EcoPark House Family Day this summer, where we'll be hosting a free “Learn How to Fix Your Bike” workshop.

📅 When: Thursday, August 28th
⏰ 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
📍 Where: EcoPark House, 1 Lee Park Way, N18 3BJ

This event is perfect for families with children aged 7+, and you'll learn all about bike maintenance basics to keep you rolling smoothly. While you're there, you can also check out other amazing activities like toy repairs and bug hotel making.

Another fantastic morning in the park! Our free summer holiday cycling session at Pymmes Park, Edmonton, was a huge success.

The sound of laughter filled the air as kids mastered new skills, building confidence and having a blast on their bikes. It’s always inspiring to see so many young people get active and enjoy the simple thrill of riding 🚲

We’re offering FREE summer holiday cycling course sessions for children, age 5 years to 12 years old. Sessions will take place in Pymmes Park’s basketball court.

🗓️Dates: ( 3 days course )
13th August, Wednesday
14th August, Thursday
15th August, Friday
