We are so incredibly thrilled to hear that tickets for Derrylin Amateur Dramatic Society production of Calendar Girls 🌻 at the Ardhowen Theatre 🎥 on Thursday 21st May and Friday 22nd May have completely 🎟️ SOLD OUT! 🎟️

We want to send a massive thank you to our brilliant neighbours in the drama group for choosing to support us. 😊
By taking to the stage for this special fundraising show, they are directly helping us keep the doors open at SWELL Cancer Support Centre.
Because of their hard work and every single person who bought a seat, we can continue to provide a warm cup of tea, a friendly chat, and vital support services right here, close to home for our friends and neighbours affected by cancer. 🙏🧡☕️👬

Keep Your Dog Safe This Easter

Easter is a great time for family, fun...and treats!
But while we're enjoying chocolate eggs and sweet treats, it's important to remember that many of these can be dangerous for our dogs.

🚫 Chocolate is toxic to dogs- even small amounts can cause vomiting, restlessness, or more serious issues. The darker the chocolate, the more dangerous it is🍫

⚠️ Watch out for other hidden risks:
• Raisins and grapes (in hot cross buns)
• Xylitol: a sweetener is sugar free treats
• Foil wrappers and packaging
• Rich fatty foods that can cause an upset tummy
• Lilies: beautiful flowers but toxic to our dogs

👍 Top tips to keep your dog safe:
✅ Keep all treats well out of your dog's reach
✅ Remind children not to share chocolate with dogs
✅ Use safe, dog-friendly treats instead
✅ Provide enrichment (snuffle mats, chews, training games) to keep your dog entertained

💡Remember- your dog doesn't know it's a "special occasion"- they just know that everything smells delicious
If you think your dog has eaten something they shouldn't have, contact your vet immediately
