Ready to make a difference and experience the magic of Barretstown?

We’re recruiting Activity Leaders and Caras to join our Summer Camp Team for 2026.

Activity Leaders are responsible for creating a safe, fun and engaging atmosphere, delivering inclusive and exciting activities and entertainment for our campers.

Summer Caras support the residential care and wellbeing of campers, helping to create a safe and welcoming cottage environment. Working closely with volunteers and our onsite medical team, they help ensure every camper can fully participate in the Barretstown experience.

A fantastic turnout at today’s Trails for All training in Connemara National Park A broad range of skills and experience from National Park staff responsible for management of trails and visitor education to Mountain Leaders and Sports Partnerships. It’s great to see the development of new Multi Access trails in the park opening up accessibility. Today’s course was supported by Mountaineering Ireland as part of their ongoing strategic commitment to inclusion. GM4X All Terrain Wheelchairs Bike & Services
