To finish a busy weekend, today we have had the privilege of supporting local Remembrance events in the Epsom & Mole Valley area. Two of our volunteers were also deployed in London providing management and radio communications support at the National Service of Remembrance.

On Saturday we also had volunteers at the Lady Mayor's Show in the City of London. The event is the oldest, longest and least rehearsed civic procession in the world and dates back to the 13th century. In 1886, the St John Ambulance Association carried out its first public duty at the Lord Mayor's Show, a year before the St John Ambulance Brigade was officially formed!

Our volunteers have been busy at events this weekend! We have helped support first aid provision in London at Allianz Twickenham Stadium for the Women's Rugby World Cup Final, followed by the Red Roses Celebration event at Battersea Power Station, plus football at Chelsea FC and the Vitality 10K run. Also, in the South East, the Windsor Half Marathon and our final event of the season at Epsom Racecourse! Thank you to our amazing St John People for all you do.
