As Mental Health Awareness Week concludes, this year's theme reminds us to focus on "Action: for yourself, for someone else, for all of us."

For those in counselling, pastoral care, coaching and mentoring, the natural tendency is often to put others first. However, awareness of self-care only leads to real change when we put it into practice.

It is helpful to reflect on that order of priority. We encourage you to think of one small, practical action you can take for your own well-being today. By looking after yourself first, you are better able to support someone else and the wider community.

Not everyone who is quiet is empty… some are just protecting what’s sacred. There are thoughts they haven’t shared, stories they’re still holding, and feelings they’re waiting to trust someone with. Sometimes the greatest gift you can give someone
is not advice… but a safe place. 💜

A place where they don’t have to filter, guard, or hold back. If you want to grow in this kind of presence and connection, our devotionals and peaceful worship playlists are there to help you stay grounded in His heart. Link in bio on page. 🙏

At the end of the day, the truest measure of our lives isn’t how much we accomplished... but how much love we carried into the world. Did we offer peace? Did we choose forgiveness? Did we let compassion lead? These are the questions that shape our hearts long after the day is done. 🤍

God does not turn away from brokenness. He moves toward it. If you’ve ever felt unseen, overlooked, or unworthy, this is your reminder: God meets us exactly where the world forgets us. You are not too low, too weak, or too lost for His love. You are right where grace knows your name. 🙏

I spent the weekend training with Lifespan Integration UK learning about healing early childhood attachment issues and we need to use dolls to represent the baby. I knew my daughters and granddaughters dolls would be useful one day, they are 32 and 16 years old now!
