Breathe. Let go. And remind yourself that this very moment is the only one you know you have for sure.

This Sunday evening we'll be using Nature, Music, Cacao, Meditaton and Breathwork to tap into a deeper state of consciousness.

WHO IS THIS EVENT FOR?

What is Cacao?

The ancient Mayans of Belize treated cacao as the “Food of the God” under the name “Theobroma cacao”. “Theo” stands for “food” and “Broma” stands for “God”.

It helps the body to heal, detoxify and to give your immune system a good boost.

The experience of raw chocolate within a cacao ceremony can also assist in energetic healing and gaining clarity in the areas of love, purpose, intuitive abilities, career and personal growth.

After setting our intentions with our cacao we will drop into some movement, followed by a breathwork inner journey guided by deep healing tones and frequencies.

We will finish the ceremony with a cup of tea (and chocolates) and a closing circle where you have the opportunity to reflect and even share your experience with others.

“Loving yourself isn’t vanity. It’s sanity.” – Andre Gide

What is my time?
It’s the time when you take a break from people and things around you. Those may include your partner, your children, family, friends, and work obligations.

It’s the time dedicated to yourself.

And how you enjoy your alone time doesn’t have to make sense to others. As long as you feel more energetic and refreshed after it, it has served its purpose.

In general, me-time is not selfish or even narcissistic. It’s not an excuse to escape responsibilities, but a chance to recharge so you can take care of them better later.

Me-time doesn’t only benefit you but also the people around you. You will have more energy and a cleared head after you take some time off.

So if you're ready for some me time, this Sunday me and are holding a special breathwork and sound bath in the dome

It's a perfect time to recharge, reset and reframe yourself for the weeks ahead.

Breathing may seem pretty intuitive — breathe in, breathe out, continue until, well, death.

Defining breathwork is tricky. Broadly speaking, the term breathwork can apply to all kinds of guided changes to your breath, including sped up breathing, breathing in yoga poses, or simply bringing awareness to your breath, as you do when you're doing mindfulness meditation. 

Breathwork for mental heath has a long history. One study of 40 adults published in Frontiers In Psychology in 2017 found that practicing slow breathing might help alleviate stress and improve depression, while small studies published in 2014 and 2017 found that yogic breathing might help veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Another study in Perspectives In Psychiatric Care in 2016 discovered that an eight-week training program in diaphragmatic breathing could reduce anxiety symptoms.

While it's not recommended to rely on breathwork to lower high blood pressure or treat mental health issues on its own, it's a good thing to have in your toolbox.

It’s Not How Others See You, It’s How You See Yourself

When you look in the mirror, what do you see?

When you think about yourself, what do you think?

When you speak to yourself, what do you say?

When you want to take action on something, do you do it? Or do you talk yourself out of it?

Have you ever known someone who is really an amazing person, talented, beautiful, intelligent, but they don’t see it?

No matter what you tell them, they don’t believe it about themselves so they go about their life believing they are not those things while everyone around them is baffled by the obvious.

How you see yourself is more important than how others see you and it will determine your outcomes long before you even get to them.

When we go through life thinking that when “this” or “that” happens, then we will be happy, then we will be successful, and then we will enjoy life, what is really happening is we do not see ourselves as capable of having or being all of that now.

Life is not about pushing the “pause” button and waiting to feel good later. Life is about living in the moment with as much joy and appreciation as possible which means that you learn to love yourself and appreciate who you are first.

Your thoughts are things, and they are constantly creating your reality.

Whatever you think about expands in your life, which is why it does not matter what others think about you, it’s what you think about yourself.

"You Want First Place Come Play With Me, You Want Second Place Go Somewhere Else."

Breathwork is trendy right now, but it’s not new. People have been practicing breathwork for thousands of years, and it has roots in yoga.

The basic idea of breathwork is to release toxins and stress when you breathe out and nourish your mind and body when you breathe in.

Breathwork is a method for self-healing and personal growth. You can create a higher vibrational frequency in your body through a full, active, and conscious breath.

Our breath helps the subconscious dissolve lower frequencies stored at the cellular level (such as repressed emotions, unpleasant memories, birth/childhood trauma, and negative thought patterns). It brings to the surface what can be released.

During a session, you will most likely experience physical as well as emotional sensations, which will be released through the work we do together. After the session, you can go your way with clarity, ease, and joy.

A typical private breathwork session lasts approximately 90 minutes, but we can adjust this based on your availability. Sessions take place either via Zoom/Skype or in person.

No matter what your goals, understanding and utilising your breath as a tool will fast track your progress in many facets of your life.  I can work with you to:

✨Why is breathwork so powerful?

Breathwork supports so many of the challenges everyone experiences. 

It reduces stress, creates feelings of openness, love, peace, gratitude, clarity, communication, and connection.

Breathwork also helps release trauma or mental, physical, and emotional blocks, as well as anxiety, depression, fear, grief, and anger.

✨How is breathwork different from meditation?

Unlike meditation, where we are aware of our mental chatter, breathwork allows us to disconnect from the mind and reconnect with our body and energy. From this elevated state of awareness, we are able to heal, grow, and expand.

Meditation is a slow and steady practice that over a period of time will shift our perspective.

Breathwork, on the other hand, can be easier to drop into when you are seeking more immediate feedback. It's a great tool to pull out when you're feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or off-center.

✨Who can benefit from breathwork?

There is a misconception that healing arts are for individuals who are struggling or suffering. And yes, breathwork is very supportive for stress, tension, overwhelm, anxiety, depression, fear, grief, sadness, anger, trauma, insomnia, etc.

After setting our intentions with our cacao we will drop into some movement, followed by a breathwork inner journey guided by deep healing tones and frequencies.
