The Association of Birth & Baby Professionals - The ABBP

The Association of Birth & Baby Professionals - The ABBP The ABBP has been primarily created for Maternity Nurses, Doulas, and Night Nannies, but is also open to other professional roles within the baby industry.

The association provides a secure site for professionals to network and share new findings, as well as support each other, in what can be a very isolating job. Members will be screened to ensure that they hold qualifications relevant to the their position,as well as an up to date first aid certificate and CRB check. It is our hope that members of the ABBP will inspire each other to a higher and mo

re knowledgeable standard of practice, that will benefit the parents and babies we work with, and create a standard that others will aspire to.

The Lullaby Trust advises that "We are not aware of any advice for babies to wear masks, whether they are infected or not. There is a potential risk of suffocation and other hazards with doing this. The latest Government guidance says that Children under 3 yrs do not need to wear masks."
