I had a lovely review today from a customer, pushing myself online doesn't come naturally to me but it is such a professional buzz when you get nice feedback.

Year 2 is now complete, it was a tough one! It was strange, I did better where I thought I would struggle and struggled with what I thought I would find easier.

Life is weird isn't it, I guess you throw all your efforts into where you think the challenges will be and keep your foot of the gas when you think you will pass with flying colours!

Nevertheless I'm looking forward to starting the last year, only 12 weeks of study and 12 weeks of placement left.
Throwing that hat up in the air becomes more of a reality with each passing month! 🎓🥳

Well March is here and things are finally feeling a bit more warmer and positive.

I've just finished 5 weeks of placement at the Royal Free Hospital in London in the acute wound care clinic.
My word it was tough, moving from flexible hours to full time, days, really knocked the equilibrium out of me.😔

On a positive, im pleased to say I passed it, lots of knowledge shared and rubbing shoulders with Podiatric surgeons and the Professor was a real experience.
It seemed the more intelligent the person, the nicer they were. 💁‍♀️

Well it's back to the study books for now, Pharmacology this term which will set me up for the realms of nail surgery. 😬

My thoughts go to Summer, looking forward to getting through the next few months to those long hot days! 🌞

Well that's it folks for another year, time to hang up the nippers!

It's been an eventful one with some real highs like going to the Royal College of Podiatry conference in Harrogate and some lows to keep me 'forever' grounded.💪🙄

As I push through with my degree (half way!) I remain under a cloud of pressure but continue to try and do my best through study and patient care and the many hats and coats we wear as practitioners, parents and partners! 😵‍💫

A time to say thank you for my ever loyal customers, I sometimes need you more than you need me! 🫂

I have had an amazing weekend of learning in Harrogate at the Royal College of Podiatry.
I'm always in awe of the incredible people that speak, although one thing I have realised that it's just ordinary people doing amazing things.

I had the pleasure this summer of shadowing one of my amazing lecturers that work at GOSH!
A sobering experience, and the realisation of what parents go through when their children attend this hospital.
All these experiences make you a better clinician and most certainly keep you humbled.
