Are you a caring, reliable and experienced Care Assistant looking to join a supportive and friendly team?
Ashefields Residential Care Home is currently recruiting for Care Assistants, with preference given to those with Senior Care experience, to work across day and night shifts.
We are a well-established residential home with a strong focus on person-centred care, dignity and respect for our residents. We pride ourselves on maintaining a warm, homely environment and a team that genuinely supports one another.
What we are looking for:
• Previous experience in a care setting (essential)
• Senior Care experience (desirable)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A compassionate, patient and reliable approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends
• Medication training (desirable for senior applicants)
Your role will include:
• Supporting residents with personal care
• Promoting independence and dignity
• Assisting with meals and daily activities
• Record keeping and communication with the team
• Supporting residents’ emotional wellbeing
• For senior applicants: supporting the shift lead and supervising care staff
