Why is Child’s Pose so hard for some people?
It’s not your hamstrings — and nothing is “wrong” with you.
Here are the real reasons it can feel blocked:
⭐ Hip structure (bone shape!)
⭐ Tight hip flexors or quads
⭐ Stiff ankles
⭐ Soft-tissue compression
⭐ Lower-back tension
⭐ Knee limitations
Totally normal.
Totally common.
Totally FIXABLE with the right variations.
Try:
✔ Knees wide
✔ Cushion between hips + heels
✔ Pillow under the chest
✔ Towel under ankles
✔ A more upright “seat-back” version
