If you're male, love football and want to do something positive for your health and wellbeing, don't miss the The 4-4-2 tactic opportunity. Online and free! 👇
We have similiar ups and downs as injured footballers.
One of our lads on the 4-4-2 Pilot is phenomenal.
He’s got his Defence all sorted, playing up and down the league levels and cracking on.
He’s a manager’s dream.
I knew this program is super easy. Seeing it in-play nails it.
We’ve moved onto the action…workouts.
First few in the bag, then he’s struck down with illness, just as his momentum was building nicely.
He wasn’t stressed, more gutted.
We’ve all been there.
Slipping from our level and getting annoyed on how we used to be able to lift this weight, run that distnce, kick a ball where we actually want it to go…
Really it’s all mind games.🧠⚽️
Best thing you can do is accept and adapt.
Accept your body needs to recover (it’s telling you by being ill), and adapt to what you can do.
For example: Any ideas of walking 10K steps go out the window 🪟 so just get out for a few hundred round the corner.
The aim is always to ‘DO’.
&
To not go on a run of multiple back-to-back write off days.
Just like footballers are desperate to get back involved, keep doing the right things until you get back to full fitness.
You’ll still keep that momentum.
And if you’re really knocked sideways then always come back stronger🔋
You can always skip over the ups and downs without breaking stride.
Got a couple more funded places to get in on the 4-4-2 online pilot program.
12 weeks, go at your own pace & ideal for getting back into it lads / beginners.
Best program I’ve ever created and you get free mentoring.
Funded places kindly supplied and supported by Live and Move & Exeter City Community Trust
