Introducing… ✨THE 10 MINUTE RULE✨ The anticipation of doing movement is always worse than the reality. I find once you’re into the flow of your workout, whatever that might be, the dread has gone. The 10 minute rule is that you go and do 10 minutes of whatever workout you’re planning to do before bailing out. If you’re really really not feeling it after 10 mins, no problem, you’ve still done something and you can try again when you feel up to it. 99% of the time though, you’ll see it through to the end.I find this a simple life hack to staying on top of my health goals and not let my neggy brain get in the way! 🧠 for more hints and tips on reaching life goals whilst feeling your best, reach out via DM or comment below👇

What you do day to day impacts your mood significantly…

Habits, whether good or bad, shape how we see the world and our moods. If we practice gratitude, and move our bodies we will feel well 👉 improving our mood. If we eat foods that make us feel sluggish and are sedentary most of the day, we won’t feel energised 👉 worsening our mood.

Honest thoughts about cooking and nutrition…💭 Sometimes I can’t even be bothered, and I know many reasons why I should! But that doesn’t negate the fact that sometimes life be life-ing, and I need something quick, tasty, and that fulfills that craving… QUEUE THE PASTA 👹❤️
This pasta dish is one I’ve been making for over 10 years, it’s simple, super quick to cook and has lots of different flavours and textures making it really satisfying to chow down on a restful evening.

For just 1 serving I use:
🍝 Gluten free fusilli pasta
🥫 1 heaped tbsp of red pesto (green is also a great option)
🍅 1 beef tomato chopped
🫑 1 pepper (usually red/yellow/orange)
🥑 1/2 an avocado
🌱 Couple of fresh basil leaves to serve (optional)

Truly this only takes ~15 minutes to make from the start including prep (which is probably quicker than any take away delivery anyway… 👀) and is super filling and delish. 😛

We don’t need to get it “perfect” when it comes to health and nutrition. What even is “perfect” anyway?
