What is an Essential Oil?
Essential Oils are aromatic and are extracted from the leaves, flowers, fruit etc and are the "life force or essence" of the plant. Not just a nice smell these oils contain biochemical's which give them properties that we can use to enhance the Mind, Body and Spirit.
The properties in some oils are antispasmodic and good for muscle aches and pains: sedative so good for stress and anxiety: Antidepressant to uplift your spirits.
We are attracted to the oils we need and nature has given us this fragrant "First Aid Kit" so that when we are feeling down or anxious we can inhale the oils to change our mood. Using Bergamot or Ylang Ylang or Lavender on a tissue in a bath or diffuser to help bring a sense of calm and relaxation. Clary Sage and Geranium are very hormonally balancing. If you "don't like it you don't need it"
