As a community space in Exmouth, we feel it’s important to stand behind the issues that affect our town, our wellbeing and our environment.

Clean water shouldn’t be a luxury. Yet across Devon our seas and rivers are being polluted while communities are left to deal with the consequences.

Across the South West, thousands of residents and businesses have already joined legal action to hold South West Water accountable for repeated sewage discharges into our seas and rivers.

This is why we’re sharing this screening.

Jo in the Water tells the story of one local woman from Exmouth who decided enough was enough - and helped rally a movement demanding better protection for the waters we all depend on.
It’s a powerful reminder that change often starts with ordinary people refusing to stay silent.

If you care about our coastline, our river, and the future of this community, please go and support this event.

Join us to celebrate the return of the light, with Live music, good food, talented practitioners and crafts.

We also are excited and honoured to be hosting the opening of George Halse’s exhibition that will be running at the centre until the 30th April.

“Joy” by George Halse is a vibrant and uplifting collection of paintings that celebrate colour, light and the beauty of everyday moments. George’s work has a wonderfully playful and expressive quality, capturing the feeling of warmth, connection and optimism that the arrival of spring brings.

We would like to say a huge thank you to the incredibly talented Art by Victoria Ellen for kindly donating these beautiful pieces to Exmouth Healing Centre.

These beautifully designed butterfly clocks and cushions have added such a lovely, calming touch to our space. The colours and nature-inspired designs fit perfectly within the centre and help create a warm, welcoming environment for everyone who visits.

We are so grateful for your generosity and for sharing your creativity with us. Your work has already brought so much joy to the space.

Please do take a moment to check out her website and support her beautiful work.
