🚨 Measles Alert – Important Information for Parents 🚨

There has been a rise in measles cases in parts of the UK, particularly affecting children who are not fully vaccinated. Measles spreads very easily and can make children quite unwell.

📌 Unvaccinated children who are in close contact with a confirmed case may be asked to stay off school for up to 21 days.

💉 The best protection is the MMR vaccination.

Please:
✔️ Check your child is up to date with their MMR vaccines
✔️ Contact us to book a catch-up appointment if needed
✔️ Call us for advice if your child develops fever, rash and cough

If you’re unsure about your child’s vaccination status, we’re happy to check for you.

We are closed for staff training - Tuesday 17 March

Each year the Hampshire & Isle of Wight ICB (Integrated Care Board) allocate our practice 4 annual training dates/days. This is our first one in 2026.

💉 COVID & Flu vaccination update

Our winter COVID vaccination programme is now complete, with an amazing 93% uptake – thank you! 💙 We vaccinated patients aged 10 to 103, including 8 patients aged 100+ 👏

The next COVID programme will run in spring (mid-April to June).

🦠 Flu vaccines are still available until 31 March (or while stock lasts).
