With the final event of 2025 happening this evening it is time to reflect on the last year. From blister plasters to flipped aircraft, 2025 has had it all.

We would like to thank all our customers, be they companies needing our training expertise or event organisers needing our Event Medical Team.

Thank you all we look forward to working with and supporting you in 2026.

I personally would also like to mention our highly professional team (Trainers and Medical Team). They rise to every task I set them with only minimal moaning, and a good chunk of banter. They really do make the standard we deliver as high as we possibly can, with 2026 seeing us raise that bar even higher. Thank you 💚

MRC Ltd wishes everyone a Merry Christmas🎄

We had the privilege of chatting to those attending The Warsash Band's Christmas concerts at the weekend about our first aid courses (new announcement in 2026!) whilst we provided medical cover.

Two amazing nights with fantastic music, such talent and right on our doorstep. If you haven't seen The Warsash Band in concert i definitely recommend it. 🎺 📯 🪈

Supporting the Neurodiverse Community! 🧠

We had the privilege of attending a wonderful community event last night to support the local Neurodiverse Community.
It was fantastic chatting with attendees about:

Inclusive Learning: Discussing the support we offer to ensure all learners, regardless of background, can successfully attend our courses. Learning is for everyone.

New Training Kits: Showcasing our new Life-Threatening Bleed training kits.

Community Sessions: Promoting our FREE 1.5-hour Defib and CPR sessions for community groups.

These essential, life-saving skills can be learned in just a couple of hours and have the potential to make a critical difference. We were also proud to provide medical cover for the event, free of charge, to support this great initiative.

A huge thank you to Ricky for the invitation. We look forward to supporting future events!

Amazing day today, 3 hours to deliver a CPD first aid refresher course is always tough for all, but the staff at Icknield School were keen to get involved and have fun refreshing old, and learning new skills. A pleasure to meet and work with all of them.

Their feedback comments, when asked for favourite part of the course, show we get it right with a learning environment of balanced seriousness and laughter.

First aid training can be fun!

Victory Festival & Air Display.

Saturday started with the streets lined with people waving flags. A parade of military bands, serving personnel, historic vehicles, large gun salute and Spitfire air display. Unfortunately the weather gods were not with Jonathan Moore and his team, some flying did happen, but the site was then hit by growing winds, over 40mph, the show site sustained damage, with many trades packing up and heading home. Unfortunately, during this time, four planes who had got caught in the wind whilst on route to the event, had to land in tricky conditions, one did sustain some damage. The pre-arranged plans kicked in and we deployed, working alongside the fire team, proving event work isn't just plasters for blisters.

The winds carried on into the night, but didn't dampen spirits at the evenings dance, clear skies gave a chance for some cool photos.

Sunday was a different day, sunny with a light breeze. A full day of entertainment, music and arena displays alongside a packed 3.5 hour flying programme with some amazing aircraft.

Well done to all concerned, you were up against it and kept smiling through most of it.

I would really like to thank all my MRC Ltd team this weekend, Richard Toon, Maisie Harris, Chris Collins, Russ Hicks (who attended a separate event on Sunday) they worked so hard, acting professional all times, even when they met Mr Churchill and General Montgomery 😆.

Our medical treatment point on hire from EventCom showed it's worth, as it always does, a gazebo would have disappeared.

If you are holding an event and would like us to help assess your medical support needs, please get in contact, we have over 30 years experience in running events and 24 years of frontline ambulance work, and it shows with the teams and the equipment we can supply.

We can also offer a family area for when quiet, out of the way, space is required.

Congratulations to Jonathan Moore, Montserrat Events and SPF for a stunning Proms in the Park event at Stansted House Park yesterday. The fireworks and the timing of the Spitfire to the music were the icing on a magnificent event. We are proud to sit in the background and make sure everyone is safe as your medical partner.

We are looking forward to today, the weather is stunning for Tea Jazz - an afternoon and evening of great entertainment.

Thanks again to EventCom for the hire of the trailer. A great clinical medical treatment area and team control point.

The summer event season is definitely here, as we prepare for some bigger events, we are proud to say, that yesterday, we could support the fantastic community event, The House That Ash Built, raising money for Mountbatten Hospice, Hampshire.

With their biggest event yet, but smaller then The Purple Guide regulates, they took the very sensible approach to see if we could help, and take the pressure off their first aiders, should anything happen.

We are happy to report no incidents, although there maybe some heavy heads this morning.

If you are running event, and you're not sure then call us and we can advise. Not all events require medical treatment points and large teams.
