We’re proud to see Cambridge Access Surgery, run by PHL Group, featured in The Guardian as part of a new NHS pilot bringing health support into probation services.

As a CQC rated Outstanding service, Cambridge Access Surgery specialises in caring for people experiencing homelessness, housing insecurity, and substance misuse — groups who face significant health inequalities and poorer outcomes.

By working alongside Cambridge Probation Service, the team is helping address unmet health needs that are closely linked to reoffending, including unstable housing, poor physical and mental health, and substance dependency.

This partnership shows how accessible, compassionate healthcare can play a vital role in improving lives, reducing inequality, and supporting safer communities.
