We’re proud to share that PHL Group has been awarded the contract to deliver Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) services in Lincolnshire, launching on 1 April 2026.

This vital service plays a crucial role in supporting individuals at some of the most difficult times in their lives, and we are honoured to be entrusted with its delivery.

A warm welcome to the colleagues joining PHL Group as part of this service. Your expertise, compassion and professionalism are at the heart of what makes this care so important.

We’re delighted to announce that PHL Group has been awarded the contract to deliver Custody Healthcare Services for Durham Police.

This is an important step in expanding our forensic healthcare services, ensuring individuals in custody receive safe, high-quality and compassionate care when they need it most.

We’re also very pleased to welcome new colleagues joining PHL Group as part of this service. Your experience and commitment will be vital in delivering excellent care from day one.

After a cold and challenging night, Sean Jenkins, Remus Manole and Mark Kettle have made it through the Great Tommy Sleep Out. It wasn’t easy, but that was the point, to stand in solidarity with veterans who face homelessness and hardship every day.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported them so far. Your donations, messages and encouragement have made a real difference and kept spirits high through the night.

Tonight, some of our PHL Group colleagues are stepping outside their comfort zone and taking part in the Great Tommy Sleep Out by giving up their comfy, warm beds for the night to sleep outdoors and raise vital funds for those who have served our country.

This powerful initiative, organised by Royal British Veterans Enterprise, funds essential services like emergency accommodation and mental health support for veterans who are experiencing homelessness, unemployment, or challenges transitioning back into civilian life.

Every penny raised goes towards helping Veterans with housing, employment support, and welfare services. They provide a lifeline to those who need it most by helping veterans rebuild their independence and future.

We’re incredibly proud of our colleagues, Sean Jenkins, Mark Kettle and Remus Manole, for getting involved in such an important cause, reflecting our ongoing commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community.

In the latest episode of Safe Talks, our host Gemma Bond visits Dorset Shores Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) in Bournemouth to speak with Ali Caller, SARC Manager, and Crisis Support Worker, Mathilda Crow.

SARCs provide specialist support for people who have experienced sexual assault, but the service is about far more than forensic evidence. It is about creating a safe, compassionate environment where people can regain a sense of control after trauma.

While Cambridge Access Surgery didn’t take home the award at last night’s HSJ Independent Healthcare Providers Awards, being shortlisted is an incredible achievement in itself, and one the whole team should feel immensely proud of.

To be recognised alongside such outstanding organisations and individuals is a reflection of the dedication, compassion and quality of care the team delivers every day. That doesn’t change with the outcome of an award.

The room is full of inspiring stories, and we’re genuinely bowled over by the achievements being celebrated across the sector tonight. It’s a reminder of the passion, innovation and care that drives healthcare forward every day.

The ‘Best Provider of Community and Primary Care’ category is coming up soon, with Cambridge Access Surgery proudly shortlisted. Whatever the outcome, we couldn’t be prouder of our team, sitting alongside such inspiring individuals and organisations is an achievement in itself.
