Today, on International Nurses Day, we want to say thank you to every nurse making a difference across healthcare.

From primary and urgent care nurses to ADHD nurses, paediatric nurses, district nurses, custody nurses, sexual assault referral centre nurses, practice nurses, community nurses, specialist nurses, and so many more, your compassion, expertise and dedication changes lives every single day.
Nurses are often there during some of the most difficult, vulnerable and important moments in a person’s life. The care, reassurance and professionalism you bring to patients, families and colleagues never goes unnoticed.

To all nurses across our services and beyond: thank you for everything you do to keep delivering brilliant, safe care. Happy International Nurses Day.

Big shout out to our Hampshire Police Custody team (plus neices and dogs!) who rolled up their sleeves for a beach clean today on Hayling Island, Hampshire.

As an organisation, we’re committed to delivering social value and making a positive impact in the communities where we operate and this was a brilliant example of that in action.

By helping to keep our local coastline clean and safe, the team played their part in protecting the environment and supporting the wellbeing of the local community.

Not content with just cleaning the beach, a few brave souls were even planning a dip in the Solent afterwards, a well-earned (and very chilly!) reward for their hard work.

A huge thank you to everyone involved for giving up their time and showing what it means to truly care for our communities and our environment. And a thank you to the sunshine that came out in time for the beach clean!

Trigger Warning: Content relates to victims of crime

As a proud provider of two Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) services in the UK who support individuals in Dorset and Lincolnshire, we’re backing the latest national survey from the Victims’ Commissioner.

Claire Waxman, London’s first Independent Victims’ Commissioner, has launched the 2026 Victims’ Survey, helping ensure that people with lived experience of crime have a chance to be heard.

This is the only independent, national survey that gathers insights directly from victims across all crime types and stages of the justice process. The findings play a vital role in shaping recommendations to improve support and outcomes.

After a cold and challenging night, Sean Jenkins, Remus Manole and Mark Kettle have made it through the Great Tommy Sleep Out. It wasn’t easy, but that was the point, to stand in solidarity with veterans who face homelessness and hardship every day.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported them so far. Your donations, messages and encouragement have made a real difference and kept spirits high through the night.

If you’ve been meaning to donate, there’s still time to show your support and help make a lasting impact for those who have served our country.

Sean Jenkins, Remus Manole and Mark Kettle braved a cold night under the stars as part of the Great Tommy Sleep Out to show their solidarity with veterans who face homelessness every day.

It’s not just about one night without comfort. It’s about raising awareness, starting conversations, and doing something tangible to support those who have given so much.

If you can, please consider donating to support their efforts. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps provide vital support to veterans in need.

Let’s get behind them and make it count. Every donations counts - https://www.justgiving.com/team/phl2?utm_medium=team...
