❄️ A little snow, a lot of smiles ❄️

During a recent snow flurry, one of our wonderfully enthusiastic and resourceful carers stepped outside to collect some snow and bring the moment indoors. Together with our residents, she built a mini snowman, complete with twig arms and berry eyes ☃️

The snowman then made a special visit around the home, giving each resident the chance to touch, stroke, and explore the cold snow. What started as a simple idea turned into a beautiful sensory experience, sparking curiosity, laughter, and meaningful interaction.

Moments like these remind us how powerful sensory touch and shared experiences can be 💙

🎄✨ Christmas cheer filled the Montgomery Unit at Pax Hill Care Home!
Residents and relatives came together to celebrate with a wonderful Christmas party full of smiles, laughter and festive fun. From the cake baking competition and delicious canapés to dancing, games, a raffle and live singing – it truly was a day to remember. Fun was had by all! ❤️🎶🍰

Our Dementia Café is back for 2026. Please come along from 10am to midday, join in an activity with us and have a cup of tea and chat. Our first café of the year is Monday 12th January, it's free of charge and no need to book.

A little December throwback ✨
We were treated to a fantastic panto performance filled with laughter, great singing and all the traditional panto fun. It brought back so many happy memories and there were smiles all round. Fun truly was had by all 🎭💛
