The Silent Epidemic
Lately, I’ve been noticing something.
Not in the headlines; but in quiet kitchens, school runs, WhatsApp chats at midnight.
Mothers everywhere… exhausted.
Holding it all together while quietly unravelling.
Managing the house, the kids, the money, the emotions, often feeling like there’s no pause button.
We don’t always talk about it.
Because everyone else seems to be coping.
Because we love our kids and feel guilty admitting it’s hard.
Because “burnout” has started to feel like part of the job.
But it’s not just you. It’s everywhere.
Post‑Covid, post‑cost‑of‑living, post‑everything —
we’re all carrying too much, and it’s finally showing.
This isn’t weakness.
This is what happens when women are expected to hold so much,
often without the space to say what they need too.
If you’ve been feeling it, you’re not alone.
Maybe it’s time we started talking about it.
