Hi. This is Vanessa she’s one of my members who has just reached her target weight and I’d like to share her journey with you.
Vanessa joined Slimming World because her weight had steadily crept up over the years — and it really hit home when she had to buy a bridesmaid dress. She ended up buying five different ones because she felt felt awful in all of them. That was her turning point.

She started at 14 stone and went down to 10 stone 5lbs — losing a fantastic 3½ stone in total. More than the weight loss, it gave her back her confidence.

What she loves most about Slimming World is the accountability of going to group each week and the encouragement and support you get from other members. You never feel like you’re doing it alone.

She’s passionate about home-cooked, delicious meals and learning how to make food that feels abundant and satisfying. She now try’s to avoid ultra-processed foods and focus on real, wholesome ingredients that nourish both body and mind.
