Our residents had loads flame-grilled fun in the sun this afternoon, gathering round for a lovely barbecue 🍖

Some massive thank you's go to our cook, Mark, and our maintenance man, Simon, who's worked tirelessly to get our garden ready 🩷

Earlier this week, the whole Sai Care Homes team got together in our café to celebrate Heather's birthday 🎉

Heather took on the role of Registered Manager at Hatfield in 2021, and since then, our home's continued to grow as a warm, welcoming place where residents thrive.

A massive thanks to Mark, our chef, for providing a great spread, and Dover Marina Hotel for the delicious cake 🎂

Hatfield recently had a visit from Bruce, our maintenance man Simon's border terrier! 🐶

Bruce was on his best behaviour for our residents - tail wags and cuddles by the bucketload. He's made plenty of new friends!

We recently got a lovely thank-you card from the family of one of our residents who recently passed away.

One line really stuck with us:
“You did amazing. I know you’re going to miss her as much as we will.”

They were right - we do. She was such a big part of Hatfield, and it’s not quite the same without her 💐

With the weather getting warmer and warmer, our residents have been making the most of being a short walk away from the beautiful Leas 🌊

Last month, shares in Cadbury increased tenfold as everyone at Hatfield gathered to celebrate the Easter weekend! 🐣

Plenty of easter eggs and cups of tea were handed out to our residents, as well as a full Easter spread over the big weekend! ☕️

(We hope the Easter bunny sticks around long enough for a cuppa next year!)
