🎉 A Special 96th Birthday Celebration for Billy! 🎉

Today we celebrated a truly special milestone — our wonderful resident Billy turned 96 years young! 🥳 His family arranged a heartfelt surprise to mark the occasion, and we gathered for a delightful birthday tea.

To make the day even more memorable, the lovely Margo joined us to sing for everyone, filling the room with joy and music. And as an extra treat, Billy received a special birthday wish from the Rangers’ manager — which absolutely made his day! 💙

Earlier this year, residents and staff at Eilean Dubh worked with Highland artist Liz Peck to design a sculpture for the Highland Hospice HeArt Trail. Liz drew inspiration from the colours of our team uniforms to create the Colours of Care tartan.

Today, our staff are proudly wearing the tartan as part of their new uniforms, with every thread representing the vital role our staff play, from carers and nurses to wellbeing coordinators, domestic staff and team leaders.
