I miss training and eating for competing. The feeling on the stage gives me the biggest high. To get to this level for me takes a serious mindset I'm not yet ready for. But I'll be doing this again in 2026! Sometimes other things take priority but that doesn't mean I'm not working towards this. Never give up! Even though you might not be in the right mindset now doesn't mean you shouldn't work on getting yourself in the right mindset to do what you love. Always a work in progress.

In 2019, I enrolled onto course to become a teacher for gym instructors and personal trainers. I finally qualified in 2022. Deep down, I didn't think I was good enough to take the next step in my career. Last weekend, I stepped outside my comfort zone and shadowed Paul Edmondson at Bournemouth University. I was given the opportunity to get involved in helping the instructors prepare for their practical assessments. The buzz was unreal. It felt incredible. I'm so glad I took that opportunity. Now I have the bug for it and back myself 100%. Some things take time, but never give up on yourself.
