M.O.T Me MOT Me - Health checks that could help save lives by preventing premature strokes and heart attacks.

MOT Me Aros an Rubha update.
Aros an Rubha, have decided that though there are no concerns with how I run the clinic, they are unable to hire me a space where confidentiality/privacy can be maintained, in an area where there is no through traffic, therfore they are no longer willing to accommodate the clinic.
This, of course is very dissapointing, especially since so many of you were delighted to have such a community service provided to you.
I shall make enquiries about different venues and I'll be in touch soon.
In the meantime, look after yourselves and I wish you all good health.

Urras an Rubha - update.
Mot Me will be discussed at the next Board meeting on 6th June.
Hope to hear some positive news after that.
In the meantime, if anyone would like a health check, please do get in touch either by messenger or email and we'll see what we can arrange. Mot.me@outlook.com
Thank you all for your support.

I am so sorry that I have not been able to hold a MOT Me session at Urras An Rubha (Point Shop). This is due to a Health and Safety survey being carried out on all users of the premises. I have been told that I will no longer be permitted to hold a clinic there as there is no sink in the room I use.
Even though I'm not checking wounds and doing dressings etc, and even though I wear gloves, use disinfectant wipes and hand sanitiser (which was good enough all through Covid-19) they will not permit me to hold any more clinics there.
This is a real shame as people who were attending were making good progress in improving their health.
If anyone has any idea how I can progress, please let me know.
I do intend to appeal the decision but I know how these things go!

Apologies to all my clients for the delay in holding a Mot Me clinic. This is due to Urras an Rubha having a Health and Safety survey done for all users of rented space in the property.
Hope to see you all again soon. Watch this space!

Amazing progress being made by a regular. Well done and thank you for sharing. I hope you inspire others to brave the next Mot Me Clinic.

MOT Me Clinic on Saturday 24th February 2024 in Aros an Rubha Community Room - 1pm to 4pm.
What will happen during your visit?
You will be weighed on state of the art scales, which prints out results which include Fat mass, Fat %, Muscle mass, Bone mass, Metabolic age, BMi, and Visceral fats, to name but a few.
If there are any "Red flags" I will advise you on what the concerns are and how you can improve on them. For example, if your Visceral fats are high, the chances are you will have previously undetected high blood pressure. I will then check your blood pressure, and we'll take it from there.
So that's just a little information but there is much more I can do, depending on your results.
New visitors always welcome.
I'm looking forward to seeing how my regulars are doing and hope to post some pictures soon.

I had a lovely lady come to my last clinic. She was telling me she had hoped to come sooner but had to go away to see her sister who was ill. She bought a blood pressure machine for her sister to be checking her BP. Whilst doing the ladies checks, there were some issues I felt needed further investigating. I found that she had high blood pressure. She had no idea and was quite shocked. The lady attended her GP as I advised and is now on medication long term to keep her BP within normal limits. Had her high blood pressure continued without address, there would have been serious consequences.
I am so happy to have been able to help and give her the guidance she didn't know she needed. Thank you, lovely lady, you know who you are. 😉
